Where's Yadida?

The disappearance of the Yemenite, Mizrahi, and Balkan children remains one of the most painful and unresolved chapters in Israeli history. The fate of over 1,000 infants and children remains disputed to this day. In this film, director Israela Shaer-Meoded attempts to trace the path of her missing aunt through historical testimonies from nurses, caregivers, and doctors. In doing so, the emotional world of these professionals, who were the last to care for the babies, is revealed: helplessness, guilt, sorrow, and inherited beliefs.
The dark ghosts of Israel's medical history are cast in a new light.
