Israeli Premiere!

On Friday morning, September 13, 2024, three women heard knocks on their doors. All were active in the protest against Yuli Edelstein, then Chairperson of the Israeli Parliament’s all-important Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. Police officers awaited them, and as they testified, “they came to take me”. In the chaos after the outbreak of the Israel-Gaza war, the women speak about what happened to them that day. The film is a proverbial pileup of events involving anti-government demonstrators, senior police officials and junior officers, members of Edelstein’s congregation, and the politician himself.
