After the October 7 attack, the heroism of female IDF soldiers on multiple front lines seemed to prove that women can serve in combat. Yet since then, most combat roles have remained closed to women, the debate is still unresolved, and past achievements suddenly look fragile. The series "Sisters in Arms" follows, over three episodes, the struggle of women to reach the front line, from the days of the Jewish underground movements to the present, and examines the political and social forces that determine whether the steel ceilings above them will be reinforced or shattered.
